KING TACO CONTINUES PARTNERSHIP WITH BRYAN HERTA AUTOSPORT IN LONG BEACH

The fast food company will provide associate sponsorship to the No. 98 through the Indy 500-winning team.

LONG BEACH, Calif. (April 12, 2018) – Mexican fast food favorite, King Taco, will again join the Bryan Herta Autosport team of partners for this year’s Grand Prix of Long Beach. The pair has partnered for the annual event on the streets of the Southern California city dating back to 2009 when the team was competing in the Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires series.

“King Taco is well known to the Long Beach Grand Prix fans,” said Bryan Herta, team principal of Bryan Herta Autosport, “and we could not be more pleased to continue our successful partnership with them. This will be our tenth year together, and we look forward to having a King Taco celebration after the race this Sunday!”

King Taco will appear on The No. 98 car of Andretti-Herta Autosport as an associate sponsor when Marco Andretti climbs in the cockpit for the 85-lap race.

The Los Angeles based company began its journey selling delicious Mexican food from a converted ice cream truck in 1974. King Taco has since expanded its operation to 20 locations throughout Los Angeles County. King Taco, which attributes its success to their use of fresh ingredients and consistent quality, has been placed within the top 100 of Hispanic Business Magazine’s “Top 500 Hispanic Businesses”.

The Grand Prix of Long Beach will be held April 13 – 15. Coverage will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network for the qualifying session on Saturday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. ET. Race Coverage will begin on NBCSN at 4 p.m. ET with the green flag waving at 4:40 p.m.
