QUOTES:#98 Mark Wilkins: “Lime Rock aka the “bullring” always puts on some of the most exciting racing of the season! The track is fast and technical with no margin for error. Add in 35 plus cars and it’s a busy race! Staying out of trouble and keeping the car clean is key to challenging for the win.   Our Veloster N TCR cars will be good her…it’s a handling track that requires a confident balanced car. It’ll be fun and I can’t wait to get the weekend started on Friday!”

#98 Michael Lewis: “Lime Rock is like a short oval or a “bull ring” for road racing, in that, there are few turns and most of the turns are in one direction. As a result, Lime Rock usually produces very close racing. This track really takes a rhythm to produce a fast lap. A rhythm is a good thing to have at all tracks, but I find it especially useful here. As there are only seven turns, the competition is really close. In the race, sometimes, you will see drivers make contact as they get frustrated from being nose-to-tail for so long. We will look to keep consistent and keep our Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Veloster N TCR clean to be in contention for the win at the end of the race. Our car is very good in corners and as Lime Rock is a series of fast, right-hand turns, it should be good for us. The Michelin Pilot Challenge has produced some great races, and if you are at the track on Saturday, we hope you get to enjoy another exciting race!”

#21 Harry Gottsacker: “I’m looking forward to racing at Lime Rock Park with the Michelin Pilot Challenge series.  I’ve been there a couple times, and it’s an iconic American racetrack.  There are big consequences for mistakes on this bull ring, but carrying speed pays out huge on the lap times!  This is week four of a four week stretch of racing for me.  We have had successful parts of all the weekends so far, and I’m looking forward to putting it all together at Lime Rock four our first victory in the Veloster N TCR.”

#21 Mason Filippi: The short and fast Lime rock park will be great in the Veloster N TCR! I am looking forward to the battles we will have with traffic and other competitors in our class. Harry and I are coming off of a successful weekend at Portland and are looking to continue the momentum through Lime Rock! Time for our Hyundai 1,2 finish. We are dialing in our setup even more and it will be perfect at the Bull Ring.”
