|Marco Andretti rolled off from 16th and quickly gained positions to run solidly inside the top 10. Following contact with Car 22 on Lap 73, Andretti was forced to pit from sixth place for a new front wing and fell back to 14th. The No. 98 team ultimately came home in the 13th position.|
|The 2019 NTT IndyCar season is nearing a close, and a champion will soon be crowned. After a two-weekend break, the field will be back in action for one last weekend of 2019 racing at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey will end the season when the 90-lap finale goes green Sept. 22, live on NBC at 2:30 p.m. ET.|

“We just didn’t have the pace for the top six, but we were comfortably in a top-seven position. We got held up a little in the pits on our last stop which allowed [Simon] Pagenaud to have a go on me on cold tires, then he drove me off track. I wasn’t just going to let him go by, I had to put up a fight for my position. What should have been seventh or eighth for the Oberto team ended up as 13th.”
