REV GROUP GRAND PRIX AT ROAD AMERICA
CHASING THE CHECKERS.

The first of two consecutive doubleheader weekends is complete for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES with the conclusion of Sunday’s Round 4 at Road America. The double-race weekend was unkind to Marco Andretti as the 98 crew, with debris setting the team back in the pits on Saturday, followed be a mechanical issue that ultimately ended the Race 1 early for the U.S. Concrete team. Sunday’s fate resulted in none better for Andretti who went home 19th.

The odds were not in favor of Hunter-Reay in Sunday’s race as the 28 car was hit from behind on the opening lap and taken out of the day’s 55-lap feature shortly after the green flag.

“It was a rough weekend for the 98 team. After mechanical issues causing us to end Race 1 early, we had hoped for a better day Sunday. The guys worked hard getting the car into a good spot, but we just weren’t able to do much. The nice thing about having a compacted schedule is we’re back at a track next weekend and have a doubleheader and a good chance at making up some points. I’m really looking forward to going back to Iowa where I enjoy racing at, and I’ve won at in the past.”
