Bryan Herta Autosport and Renewable Lubricants Partner for World Racing League Entry

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Brownsburg, IN (April 3, 2025) – Five-time IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Champions, Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA), will enter the #98 Renewable Lubricants Hyundai Elantra N Line TCA in this weekend’s World Racing League event at Mid-Ohio. The weekend features two endurance rounds with an 8-hour race on Saturday and a 7-hour race on Sunday.

Expanding its racing portfolio, BHA enters WRL endurance competition with a strong driver lineup and proven race-winning expertise, along with a new partner in Renewable Lubricants. “We’re thrilled to partner with BHA and see Renewable Lubricants’ products lubricating the team’s Hyundai race cars. Racing is the ultimate proving ground for high-performance products, and this partnership showcases how sustainable, environmentally responsible technology can excel on the track,” said Ben Garmier, Vice President of Business Development at Renewable Lubricants.

Texans Maddie Aust and Justin Gravitt will co-drive the #98 entry. Aust is a full-time driver for BHA in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. She kicked off her rookie IMSA season with an impressive sixth-place qualifying result at the season opener at Daytona International Speedway. Both drivers recently attended the Hyundai Drivers’ training camp in New York City to prepare themselves for their grueling WRL endurance weekend that features 15 hours of racing at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. At just 17, this weekend’s WRL debut with BHA is a turning-point in Gravett’s young career. He joins BHA from the SCCA Super Tour.

Known for its success in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and other premier racing series, Bryan Herta Autosport brings championship-caliber preparation and execution. The WRL effort is led by Lead Engineer, Megan Ryder. Ryder joined BHA as an intern and most recently earned her first victory as a lead engineer on the #98 Hyundai Elantra N TCR entry in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, last month Sebring. Ryder commented, “Getting to be on the other side of a race team and learn what it takes to get a team and car ready for a race beyond engineering has been a challenge, but also very rewarding. This opportunity has allowed me to grow and expand my skills into other parts of the team, while still getting to do what I love as a race engineer.”

Fans can follow the action via live timing and race coverage on WRL’s official streaming channels.
