Newton, IA  –After struggling to find grip in the Iowa heat, Gabby Chaves and the Bowers & Wilkins #98 survived 300 hard fought laps to finish 16th. The BHA team fought handling issues all night, and made up a number spots through attrition and consistent pit stops…
The only time the Indycar series ran under the lights at Iowa Speedway was after the start of the race. Chaves fought a lack of grip all night, but hung on to the #98 car to gain valuable points in the chase for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year title. 
The BHA team will be off next weekend as they prepare for the final three races of the season starting at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on August 2.Gabby Chaves on the Iowa Corn 300:
“It was a really big struggle out there all day. Couldn’t find any grip, just basically trying to survive the whole race. Hopefully we can figure out what the issue is and move forward from here.”
