Maddie Aust (R) and Suellio Almeida (R)

Maddie Aust: “It was a good experience for my first time at CTMP. The track is quite fast and takes a lot of commitment, but we were able to improve each session and were making up some positions during the race!”
Suellio Almeida: “Definitely my best race so far this year! I was able to stay with the top 7 and feel like I’m having a better chance of hitting my goal of getting a podium this year. I’m feeling more and more competitive!”

Bryson Morris and Mark Wilkins

Bryson Morris: “We had an up and down weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park with good practice sessions and pole position, but an unfortunate incident in the race forced us to retire while running in second position. The whole BHA crew did a great job making our Hyundai Elantra N TCR the fastest car out there, but sometimes things just don’t go your way. Hopefully we can turn things around at Road America and get back on the podium.”
Mark Wilkins: “I’m really disappointed and gutted with what happened in the race. I’m gutted for the team and for everyone involved. These are the kinds of incidents we never want to see happen, let alone be involved in. We had a pretty strong car and I think we could have fought for a podium which makes the sting that much worse. I appreciate the work ahead for our crew to get the car back together for Road America. As always, we look forward to the next race and opportunity for a great result.”

Denis Dupont and Preston Brown

Denis Dupont: “CTMP was a challenging race for us. We managed to salvage P5 out of an eventful race. The championship table keeps getting closer and closer. We are now tied at the top and the gaps behind are very close.”
Preston Brown: “This was a tough race for us. While I was happy with my qualifying and pace, I can’t deny that it’s frustrating we weren’t able to score a higher finish. We are tied again for the Championship lead, but Honda is nipping at our heels. The final four races this year will all be critical. “

Harry Gottsacker IV and Mason Filippi

Harry Gottsacker IV: “It was one of those weekends where we did what we could to minimize damage from unfortunate racing luck. A few bits of contact resulted in losing track position and a trip to pit lane while running P2. The team gave us a great car from FP1 and it’s always nice to see all the Canadian Nthusiasts out in full force. Looking forward to Road America!”
Mason Filippi: “Huge thank you to the entire team for their hard work this weekend at CTMP. It wasn’t the result we were aiming for, but everyone gave it their all and we’re still in the fight for the championship. We’ll regroup, refocus, and come back stronger.”
