Cabot Bigham will Join Bryan Herta Rallysport for the 2017 Red Bull Global Rallycross Season

INDIANAPOLIS, IND (February 15, 2017) – Bryan Herta Rallysport is pleased to announce that 2016 GRC Lites Champion, Cabot Bigham, will join the team for the 2017 Red Bull Global Rallycross Supercar season.  Bigham, commonly referred to as ‘The Big Ham’, completed a breakout rookie season in 2016 by clinching the GRC Lites Championship with 2 wins, 5 podiums and 8 top five finishes.

Prior to winning the 2016 Red Bull Global Rallycross Lites Championship, the 20-year old excelled in multiple racing disciplines including capturing the 2015 West Coast Formula Mazda Championship in his rookie year, 2013 WKA West Coast PRD Championship and second place in the 2014 Red Line Oil Series Pro Stock Honda Championship.

2017 will mark the third season of Red Bull GRC Supercar competition for Bryan Herta Rallysport.  The team has been a consistent presence at the front of the field in GRC competition the last two seasons with driver Patrik Sandell.  The team will continue with its’ venerable MSport Ford Fiesta car, led by team manager, Nick Franzosi.

Bigham enters the 2017 Red Bull Global Rallycross Supercar season supported by Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Oral IV and Fuel Clothing. Team partners will be announced shortly.
