The #98 Elantra N TCR of Mason Filippi and Harry Gottsacker was the highest finishing Hyundai at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with fourth place. They currently stand in second place in the team championship, only ten points behind the leaders. Their championship battle will continue at Road Atlanta.
The #76 team of Denis Dupont and Preston Brown finished in 11th place, while Maddie Aust and Suellio Almeida in the #9 Elantra N TCR placed 12th. The #33 drivers Mark Wilkins and Bryson Morris came in 15th, and Jon Miller and Lance Bergstein in the #18 placed 16th.
BHA Hyundai Elantra N TCRs led a total of 14 laps at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. For every lap led by a Hyundai, Hyundai Hope on Wheels (HHOW) donates $100 to a local children’s hospital. Therefore, $1,400 is being donated to Riley Children’s Heath. In total, $40,100 has been donated to a various children’s hospitals.
At the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, BHA had the pleasure of being joined by Jackson, Hyundai Hope on Wheels National Youth Ambassador. Jackson’s first-ever race was filled with exciting activities, such as signing autographs at the Hyundai display and sitting inside a Hyundai Elantra N TCR.
Since September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the #33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR is running a special Hyundai Hope on Wheels livery to bring awareness to and support fundraising for pediatric cancer research. BHA drivers had the opportunity to visit Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis on Thursday to see the impact that HHOW is having on children fighting pediatric cancer and their families.
There is only one race remaining in the 2025 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season. The season finale will take place at Road Atlanta in October where BHA and Hyundai are aiming for their sixth IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series title.
