Bryan Herta Autosport delivered another dominant performance at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca 120, securing victory and a 1-2 finish while leading all 70 laps. The result marked the team’s fifth IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge win at Laguna Seca and its 10th podium at the circuit.
The No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, driven by Mason Filippi and Bryson Morris, converted pole position into victory, leading 67 of the race’s 70 laps. Filippi controlled the race from the outset, with Morris completing the effort to secure BHA’s second victory of the season.
After dropping to the back of the field due to a flat tire, the No. 76 Hyundai Elantra N TCR of Denis Dupont and Preston Brown mounted a remarkable comeback to finish second.
The No. 98 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, driven by Maddie Aust and Mark Wilkins, finished sixth after leading three laps, while the No. 18 entry of Harry Gottsacker and Lance Bergstein crossed the line in eighth.
Championship Standings
Following Round 3, BHA continues to hold a strong position in the championship standings. The No. 33 entry of Filippi and Morris leads the championship with 950 points, followed by the No. 76 of Dupont and Brown in second with 840 points. The No. 98 of Wilkins and Aust sits third with 810 points, while the No. 18 of Gottsacker and Bergstein is fifth with 790 points.
Hyundai Hope On Wheels
Hyundai Hope On Wheels (HHOW) donates $100 for every lap led by a Hyundai entry throughout the 2026 season, along with an additional $5,000 for a No. 33 car podium finish or $10,000 for a victory by the No. 33 car. With BHA Hyundai entries leading all 70 laps at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, $7,000 was generated through laps led, and the No. 33 victory added a further $10,000, bringing the total weekend donation to $17,000 in support of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford.
