Bryan Herta Autosport delivered an impressive team performance in the second round of the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season, earning a double podium finish in the two-hour Alan Jay Automotive 120 at Sebring International Raceway.
The No. 18 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, driven by Harry Gottsacker and Lance Bergstein, secured a strong second-place result after starting fifth on the grid. This result marks a milestone for Bergstein, who celebrated his first career IMSA podium finish.
The No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR of Bryson Morris and Mason Filippi followed closely behind in third after also starting from third position. With this podium finish, they take the championship lead.
The No. 98 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, piloted by Mark Wilkins and Maddie Aust, showed strong pace to climb from 12th on the grid to finish fourth, narrowly missing the podium.
The No. 76 Hyundai Elantra N TCR of Preston Brown and Denis Dupont started seventh and were having a strong day until they suffered a flat tire that put them in 14th.
Beyond the on-track success, Hyundai’s racing efforts continue to make an impact off the track. For every lap led by a Hyundai in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, Hyundai Hope on Wheels (HHOW) donates $100 to a local children’s hospital. In addition to the per-lap contribution, HHOW donates an additional $5,000 if the No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR finishes on the podium, and $10,000 if the No. 33 secures a race victory. At Sebring, the No. 76 led two laps, the No. 18 led one lap, and the No. 33 finished on the podium, resulting in $5,300 donation to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
With two races complete in the 10-round championship, Bryan Herta Autosport continues to demonstrate strength across its four-car lineup as the season builds momentum. The next race will take place at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on May 2nd.
