BHA Announces TC America Entries

Speedway, IN (March 30, 2022) – Bryan Herta Autosport with Curb Agajanian (BHA) will compete in the 2022 SRO TC America Series fielding two Hyundai Elantra N Line TCA entries.
Branyon “Biggs” Tiner and Tyler Delgado will join the four-time Sports Car championship winning BHA team, with Delgado driving the #33 and Tiner driving the #98 Elantra N Line TCA entries. Built by BHA, the Elantra N Line TCA car debuted in the SRO finale at Indianapolis Motor Speedway last fall and was developed from the 2021 North American Car of the Year, the Hyundai Elantra.
“Hyundai has already built a winning reputation in the TCA class in the SRO TC America Series,” said Bryan Herta. “We are excited to welcome Biggs and Tyler to the team to pilot our all new Elantra N Line TCA cars, we are certain they have very bright futures ahead of them and we look forward to being part of their development. I want to personally thank our partners at Hyundai Motor America, staff and officials from the TC America Series, and everyone at the BHA shop that have collaborated on this project.”
The TCA class is designed to offer up-and-coming drivers’ tough competition while providing a safe and exciting platform to hone their racing skills. Based on the road-going Hyundai Elantra N Line, the Elantra N Line TCA race car is perfect for amateur talents looking to take the next step in their development. Delgado and Tiner made their debut with Hyundai and BHA with a strong showing at the World Racing League, driving the #98 Veloster Turbo TCA in the 16-hour season finale last December.
The TC America presented by Skip Barber Racing Schools championship features seven race events on the nation’s top road courses. Each event includes two 40-minute races, for a 14-race series. Bryan Herta Autosport last competed full-time in the SRO World Series in 2018 when they won the team championship with drivers Michael Lewis and Mark Wilkins. It was the team’s first year racing with Hyundai. They have since gone on to win three consecutive TCR titles in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge racing under the Hyundai banner.
Round one of the 2022 SRO TC America championship kicks off April 15-17, 2022, at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California. For all of the latest news and results, please visit www.bryanhertaautosport.com
