Bigham Makes Supercar Debut in Memphis

MEMPHIS, TN- Bryan Herta Rallysport entered Round 1 of the 2017 Red Bull Global Rallycross season with a confident and eager Cabot Bigham ready to race in Memphis. The rookie showcased why he won the 2016 RBGRC Lites Championship with quick launches and an ability to keep the #2 car on pace with the RBGRC veterans throughout the weekend.

Bigham pulled a fourth place finish in Heat 1A, a pair of third place finishes in Heat 2A and Semi-Final B, to round out a sixth place finish in the Final. He moves onto Round 2 in Louisville in seventh place with 54 points.

“Bryan Herta Rallysport is an amazing organization,” said Bigham. “When I saw them last year in Lites and when I went to the test, I really felt like I bonded with the team. So coming out to the first race, I felt right at home. I felt like there was nothing that we couldn’t achieve. Despite our learning curve and the problems we faced, we ended-up coming out on top, in my opinion. I think we handled our situations really well. So thank you to the whole team for supporting me in my first race and being there for my Supercar career!”

The Bryan Herta Rallysport team will race at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville for Round 2 of the Red Bull Global Rallycross Season on May 19-21st.
